Prior to joining ORCA I was a primary school teacher for 14 years, 10 years as senior manager culminating in Deputy Headship.  I held responsibility for such subjects as ICT, Science and PE having achieved further qualifications in coaching and training.  Immediately prior to that I was a full time mother for 6 years.  I moved to Worcester, in the Midlands, from London in 1983; I was born and educated in London gaining a degree in Applied Biology.  Before marriage I was a PA at Lonrho Plc and a Business Assistant with Kanematsu-Gosho, a Japanese trading company, in the City of London.  I've raised two lovely children whilst living in Worcester who are full grown now, just can't get them to leave home yet!  My daughter starts her new career in PR in London when she finishes her communications degree this summer.  My son is a Sales Executive with Listers VW.  In my free time I like to socialise with friends, keep fit by attending pilates, yoga and swimming or just while away the time reading.  I'm happy to admit I'm an inveterate shopper - a girl can never have too much of anything!  Needless to say I look forward to working with you.
