Online Goals
Over two-thirds (67 per cent) of small to medium-sized enterprises are not satisfied with the performance of their websites.
The research, which surveyed 100 business-to-business SMEs about their online presence, also reveals that 61% don’t have a defined web strategy.
The majority of SMEs stated the primary goal of their website is to generate leads (45 per cent), with brand building (22%) and online sales (18%) also a priority. However, while 67% of SMEs are measuring traffic to their website, only half (51%) are measuring the effectiveness of their website in meeting their primary goal.
